Four days, hundreds of cars, thousands of excited car lovers – it’s San Antonio Auto & Truck Show time again. This year promises to be better than ever as exotic foreign cars, top of the line trucks and pure American muscle cars share space on the showroom floor. Not only that, but contests, celebrities, exhibitors and family-friendly activities make this an action packed weekend. This year’s San Antonio Auto & Truck Show will open to the public on Thursday, November 19 at 2:00 p.m. and continue through Sunday, November 22.

Expect to see cars from Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Buick, Chevy, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Lincoln, Lotus, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Ram, Rolls Royce, Scion, Subaru, Toyota and Volkswagen. Not to mention Porsches, Maseratis, Mercedes, Jaguars and Hyundais.

Eco-minded folks will love getting a glimpse of the nominees and winner of the 2016 Green Truck of the Year and the new 2016 Commercial Green Car of the Year, both to be presented at the show. The Green Truck of the Year™ nominees include the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax, Ford F-150, GMC Canyon Duramax, Nissan Titan XD, and Toyota Tacoma. Vying for the all-new 2016 Commercial Green Car of the Year™ award are the Chevrolet City Express, Ford Transit Connect, Mercedes-Benz Metris, Nissan NV200, and Ram ProMaster City.

This year beer lovers will be happy to hear, the San Antonio Auto & Truck Show will also be offering a unique VIP package that includes admission to the auto show, and VIP tickets to the pre-Auto Show festivities at Alamo Beer. At the event, guests will enjoy live music, two complimentary pints, a souvenir glass, a guided tour of the brewery, a choice of brunch or lunch and free parking and shuttle service to and from the show.

But the day isn’t just about seeing cars, you just might get the chance to get behind the wheel. Both Ford and Toyota will provide ride n’ drives, which give attendees opportunities to test-drive select vehicles.

This is truly a family event as there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained as well. They can try their hand at driving kid-sized cars in the YMCA Kids Zone, open Saturday and Sunday. There will also be games and activities. Did I mention Batman with be there with his incredible Batmobile? Yeah, the kids are going to need to see that.
