Gold Plated Dreams: Anjelah Johnson, aka Bon Qui Qui, is coming to San Antonio
We can’t all be as fabulous as Bon Qui Qui. The over-the-top fabulous character of stand up comedian Anjelah Johnson is fierce with her multicolored extensions, long nails and fly style. Bon Qui Qui tells it like it is and is determined to make her music dreams come true. Being fired from her job at King Burger doesn’t even faze her. No matter what, and no matter where, she is feeling herself.
Comic Anjelah Johnson’s Bon Qui Qui emerged when she starred on the late-night comedy sketch show, MadTV. Bon Qui Qui was the hilariously inappropriate and rude fast food cashier that took no attitude from anyone. She didn’t have time for the haters because she was destined for stardom.

Lucky for us, we can now see the diva in action as the Gold Plated Dreams Tour comes to the Majestic Theatre on Friday, April 22. Anjelah Johnson combines her original stand-up with music and dancing and then a whole comedy set as Bon Qui Qui herself. There’s a lot to get excited about.
